Preparations for the International Christmas Festival 2012

The International Christmas Festival is a prestigious annual event organized and coordinated by the DSA. This year, The Congress Hall of the Hilton Hotel will be once again the venue of this vibrant and important fundraising occasion that will be opened by Madame Livia Klausova, the longtime patron of this DSA activity.

Visitors will have the opportunity to buy a wide variety of products from all over the world: souvenirs, clothing, fashion accessories, jewelry, handicrafts, arts, traditional food and beverages. Thanks to the Embassies and Diplomatic Missions who initiated, organized and collected products and items donated by national companies in their respective countries and foreign companies operating on the Czech market. All the proceeds from the International Christmas Festival will be used for different charities in Czech Republic as the unwavering mission of the DSA in providing help to the less fortunate people in the community. The last year’s proceeds from the International Christmas Festival of 3,800,000.00 CZK were distributed to 26 charities in the Czech Republic.

Any Czech non-profit organization may apply for a charity donation. The application has to be submitted to the DSA by January 11th, 2013.
